<br>Lev Dodin
Lev Dodin is the director of Saint Petersburg’s Maly Drama Theater. Graduated from the Leningrad Institute for Theatre, Music and Cinema (Boris Zon and Georgy Tovstonogov’s workshop) in 1966. Between 1966 and 1982 he was guest director in different Russian and foreign theatres, including the Young Spectators’ Theatre and the Gorky Theatre in Leningrad, the Moscow Art Theatre, the Finnish National Theatre, the Salzburg Festival, the Florence Musical May, and the Scala in Milan. In 1975 he started to work with the Maly Drama Theater, and in 1982 he became its artistic director. Among Dodin's productions are: Brothers and Sisters and The House by Fedor Abramov, The Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Stars in the Morning Sky by Alexander Galin, Chevengur by Andrei Platonov, The Devils by Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov and many others.
