Graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (RATI) in 1982 (A. Goncharov’s workshop). From 1983 to 2001 taught on Petr Fomenko’s course, since 2001 on Sergei Zhenovach’s course at RATI. Among Kamenkovich’s productions are Ivan-Tsarevich and The Magic Dream at the Mayakovsky Theatre, The Eighteenth Camel by S. Aleshin, A Fatal Mistake by M. Roshchin, The Youth of Louis XIV by A. Dumas at the Satire Theatre, A Small Giant of Great Sex by F. Iskander at the Hermitage Theatre, The Russian Teacher by A. Buravsky, Art by Y. Reza, Love as Militarism by P. Gladilin, Love Letters by A. Gurney at the Tabakov Theatre, Corpse at the tennis-court by P. Shaffer at the Estrada Theatre, School for Fools by S. Sokolov, Arkadia by T. Stoppard at the Fomenko Studio theatre, Marienbad by Sholom-Aleichem at the School of Theatre Arts (Artistic Director: S. Zhenovach), Twelfth Night by W. Shakespeare, The Importance of Being Earnest by O. Wilde, Barbarians by M. Gorky, The Moth by P. Gladilin, Heartbreak House by G.B. Shaw at the Fomenko Studio theatre.
